About this project
Tameer Estimations is a desktop SaaS application built for Pakistan's construction industry. It automates structural cost estimations, replacing hours of manual spreadsheet work with accurate, instant project quotes. Currently covering structural estimations, the platform is designed to expand into electrical, plumbing and finishing workflows.

The Challenge
What we solved
Contractors and engineers in Pakistan were estimating project costs manually using Excel spreadsheets and paper-based rate analysis. A single structural estimate could take 2-3 days, was prone to errors, and made it impossible to quickly compare material or design alternatives.
The Solution
How we built it
We built a Tauri-based desktop application that generates structural cost estimates in minutes. Users input project parameters and the system calculates material quantities, labor costs and total budgets using localized Pakistani market rates. The offline-first architecture ensures it works reliably on construction sites with poor connectivity.
