The Challenge
What we solved
Liberia had no centralized online marketplace. Buying and selling happened through scattered social media posts and word of mouth. There was no trust layer, no payment infrastructure and no way for sellers to reach buyers beyond their immediate network.
The Solution
How we built it
We built a full-stack marketplace with category browsing, search and filtering, user verification, in-app messaging between buyers and sellers, and integrated payment processing. The platform was optimized for low-bandwidth connections common in the region and designed mobile-first for the predominantly smartphone user base.
