Most 'ERP cost in UAE' articles give you a range from AED 40,000 to AED 300,000 and no way to place yourself in it. Here is our pricing module by module, a worked example for a 25-person business, and what makes the number go up or down.
A custom ERP for a UAE small business costs between AED 5,500 and AED 55,000 ($1,500 to $15,000) as a fixed price, depending on how many modules you need. Most 10 to 50 person businesses land between AED 15,000 and AED 30,000 for their first version, and go live in 8 to 14 weeks.
That is far below the AED 100,000 to 300,000 figures in most articles, for two reasons. Those articles are written by agencies with Dubai offices and enterprise overheads, and they describe systems for hundreds of users. We are a remote-first team working on Gulf time, and we build for businesses that need three modules, not thirty.
| Module | What it covers | Fixed price (AED) |
|---|---|---|
| Core (always included) | Company setup, user logins, roles and permissions, audit log, Excel and PDF export | Included |
| Inventory and purchasing | Products, suppliers, stock in and out, multi-location stock, reorder alerts, stock counts on a phone | AED 5,500 to 11,000 |
| Sales, invoicing and VAT | Quotes, invoices, credit notes, payment tracking, FTA-compliant VAT reports | AED 5,500 to 11,000 |
| CRM and pipeline | Leads, follow-up reminders, deal stages, customer history, WhatsApp click-to-chat | AED 4,000 to 9,000 |
| HR and payroll | Employee records, leave, attendance, WPS-format payroll files, gratuity accrual | AED 5,500 to 11,000 |
| Projects or jobs | Job cards, costing against estimate, site photos, client approvals | AED 5,500 to 11,000 |
| Reporting dashboard | Owner dashboard across every module, scheduled email reports | AED 3,000 to 7,000 |
| Arabic interface | Full right-to-left bilingual UI | AED 2,000 to 4,000 |
| Data migration | Import and cleaning of existing spreadsheets or legacy system | AED 1,000 to 5,000 |
Pick the modules you need, add them up, and you have a realistic budget before you speak to anyone.
Current state: stock in an Excel file, invoices in a desktop accounting tool, payroll done by hand, no view of profit per product line.
What we would build in version one: inventory and purchasing (AED 8,000), sales and invoicing with VAT (AED 8,000), owner dashboard (AED 4,000), migration of three years of data (AED 2,500). Total AED 22,500, 12 weeks. HR and payroll added in a second phase three months later for AED 7,000 once the team is comfortable with the first system.
Time saved after launch, based on what similar clients report: 15 to 25 staff-hours a week on data entry and reconciliation, which at UAE salary levels is AED 8,000 to 15,000 a month. The system pays for itself in under six months.
Off-the-shelf ERPs cost less on day one and more every month: AED 100 to 300 per user per month, plus AED 20,000 to 60,000 for an implementation partner to configure them. For a 25-person team that is AED 30,000 to 90,000 a year in licences, forever, for a system that still needs workarounds. A custom ERP is a one-time fixed price, has no per-user fees, and does exactly what your process needs. Off-the-shelf is the right answer when your process is completely standard and you have fewer than five users.
Send us a description of your current process, screenshots or exports of the spreadsheets you use, and the number of users. We build the systems described in this article. Let’s talk about your project.
